FAQs

How do I RSVP?

Please select the ‘Menu’ on our website, then navigate to the ‘RSVP’ page. Located on that page is the link to RSVP for the wedding.

What is the dress code?

Our dress code is cocktail attire.

For men, we suggest a suit, or dress shirt with slacks, tie optional.

For women, we suggest a short, midi-, or knee-length dress or dressy separates.

Spring colors and patterns are encouraged but not required. Kindly refrain from wearing various shades of white or light pink, as these are the colors of the bridal party and the bride.

Are my kids welcome?

We are happy to welcome your entire family, including your kiddos, on our wedding day! The number of children you have should be reflected on your RSVP card that came with your formal invitation.

If your RSVP card does not reflect the correct number which includes your minor children, just let us know, and RSVP for the number that you need! We are human and sometimes write the wrong number on the RSVP card. If you have been invited, your minor children are also welcome!

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

We love that you want to take photos of our wedding. However, we will be having an unplugged ceremony – please no photos while inside the chapel.

Feel free to take all the photos you would like with your smartphone or camera during the reception!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both our ceremony and reception will be indoors.

St. John’s Chapel does not have air conditioning. If it happens to be a warm day in May, the Chapel might be a bit stuffy. However, our reception space, the Great Hall, has both heat and air conditioning.

Have any hotel blocks been reserved?

We have not reserved any hotel blocks at a specific hotel. Please navigate to our ‘Accommodations’ page on this website from the ‘Menu’ tab to see more information about hotels in the area.

Has a shuttle been reserved for transportation to the venue?

We have not reserved any shuttle for transportation to our venue. Uber and Lyft are available through their apps, as well as vehicle rental through Enterprise or Turo.

What are the colors of the wedding?

Our colors are black and white with accents of ballerina pink. We kindly request that our guests refrain from wearing white and light shades of pink as this is the bridal party color. Red and shades of dark pink (magenta, mauve, hot pink) is okay to wear!

Black and all the other colors of the rainbow are available for our guests to wear on our big day.

Can I bring a plus one?

If you have been provided a plus one, the RSVP card that came with your invitation will indicate that we have reserved two seats in your honor.

What food will be served?

We will be serving both American classics and Indian food (our favorite) during the reception. A more specific menu will be updated to this website at a later date. Vegetarian options will be available.

Will there be an open bar?

We will have an open bar for the night, so have fun and let loose!

How do I send a gift?

If you would like to honor us with a gift off our registry, please feel free to navigate to our wedding registry linked on this website. Navigate to the ‘Menu’ pane and select ‘Registry’. Click on the link below, and you will be taken to our registry.

If you prefer to give cash, there is a Honeymoon Fund on our registry. Alternatively, we will have a card box at the wedding for in-person gifts.
